Es un lugar privilegiado con las bondades de Dios, nos ha adornado nuestro entorno con parajes bellísimos, idílicos, situados en toda la extensión territorial y sumados en esta geografía pre y cordillerana andina en unión a Lonquimay que en sus comienzos y hasta antes de la Regionalización perteneció a Curacautín.Unidas las dos comunas, son más que ganadoras en fuentes turísticas,paisajes, la tela y el óleo estan en lagos, lagunas, volcanes, centros termales,nieve,
las mejores faldas para el ski, túneles, cordillera, ríos, saltos de agua, bosques milenarios, araucarias tocando el cielo, magestuosas y resguardando nuestra soberanía junto al cóndor en su vuelo vigila bordeando el territorio por el Norte y hacia el oriente;la vegetación, el clima, la flora y fauna silvestre; Una vía asfaltada de uso anual que nos une con Argentina; en fin , tantas son las grandezas de DIOS con esta tierra que muchos no la valoran porque estamos aquí, pero quienes nos visitan no encuentran las palabras para describir la hermosura de estos espacios,

Por ello doy gracias a Dios por derramar tantas bondades para esta tierra; Una apuesta a unirnos para hacer crecer y potenciar este rincon de CHILE
